Global Biker was started by Mike Garbe, in March 2008. We are based in near Great Dunmow in Essex but also have a base The Netherlands, just a short ride from the Hook of Holland ferry port. Our locations makes us ideally suited to cater for motorcyclists from the UK and south/central Europe.
We constantly monitor the accommodation we recommend, whether guided or self-guided. Bearing in mind that we cater to YOUR needs and budget, the majority of the hotels are of a 3 star standard or better, the campsites (we use camping huts) are all of a high standard, are easy to find, and mostly have onsite or nearby catering acilities.

Mike Garbe is the proprietor of GlobalBiker, and your primary tour organiser/guide.
52 years young, born and raised in the North Midlands but spends a great deal of time abroad. He has been independently travelling around the planet, not always by motorcycle, all of his life. He has been married to a Thai National for 20 years and they have 2 teenage children.
Currently rides a heavily customised 2008 BMW 1200GS Adventure.
